The Pets of LoneStar

MARY: We have 2 dogs, Sam and Dexter. Sam is the most awesome dog in the world! He's a Chow/German Shepherd mix. Dexter (the Rottweiler mix) is cool, but a really big fraidy cat! At his training school when we learned the "stay" command, he passed with flying colors because he was too scared to move. LOL

ALICIA: We have 2 Australian Shepherds, a boy named Miles and a girl named Maggie. They are litter mates and very close. Maggie is Miss Princess -- very lady like, but aggressive. Miles is a goofball -- hyper and silly. Miles ran away last year and Maggie would lay in our closet under the clothes everyday because she was so sad her brother was gone. He showed up 5 weeks later at 4 am at our front door. He was filthy and smelled like a skunk!

ROB: I have a dog named Lucy who's 3 years, a cat named Benjamin who's 10 years, and a cat named Pia who is 7 years.
When my dog Lucy was about 1 year old, she was chasing the neighbor's cat out into the road and got hit by a car. She got lucky because it only caught her hind legs. She spent about six months with a cast on both legs which had to be changed once a week by the veterinarian. One leg even had to have a pin put in it. She still limps on the right one a little, but other than that she is happy go lucky. I wish everybody thought I was who my dog thinks I am!

TASHA: I have a dog that is part pit with the name of "Action Jackson". He is 3 years old and is the sweetest, most loving dog I've ever had. He was part of a litter of 16 puppies. At birth, he was not alive or breathing. The woman who helped birth the puppies administered "puppy CPR" and he is now the most precious puppy/dog I could have asked for.

MAT: I have 3 dogs and 2 cats. The dogs are Joey, T.J., and Haley. My cats are PP and Captain Glamor Shot, who is the coolest. Oh yeah, my dog Joey is completely deaf so its fun to sneak up and scare him. LOL

LANA: I have two pit's. There is Trail, who is 110-120 pounds and black with a patch of white on his chest, then there's Miss Daffnie, my little princes. She's white with black spots on her skin (not her fur) and is only about 45-50 pounds. I also have two cats. One male cat, who's name is Sammie, is an orange Tabby and about 7 years old. The other one is a black and white female cat named Fluffy and she is about 17 years old. She doesn't have any teeth anymore. : ( I also have a Lizard that is about 8 years old now, named Chopper. Do you count Kids as pet's? I have Two of those too!! (just kidding!)

SHEALEE: I recently adopted a kitty that my sister rescued. His name is Calvin and he is black with small white hairs around his ears and chin. Oh yeah and yesterday when I gave him a bath I found some orange in him. He is just an array of colors, if you will? He looks like a little bat to me, but there is beauty in his uniqueness. I really haven't had much time with him to have funny stories, but I look forward to the day that I have some to share! ;)

LINDSAY: On the left we have the birds, Carlie and Charlie. And on the right, there is Shrek, Shane, Silas, Sarah, Sage, and Shawney.

I adopted Charlie earlier this year and got Carlie about a month ago. They're best friends already! They love to sing to each other and Charlie always tells Carlie what a "pretty bird" she is. My cats are all siblings, born this past St. Patrick's Day. They're my lucky kitties! They don't always get along with Carlie and Charlie though, so they hang out outside most of the time. :)
